German Cake Topping

Ingredients

1 c. Evaporated milk

1 c. Sugar

3 Egg yolks

¼ lb. Butter

1 t. Vanilla

1 1/3 c. Flaked coconut

1 c. Chopped pecans


Directions


Combine milk, sugar, egg yolks, butter, and vanilla in a sauce pan.

Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened, about 12 minutes.

Remove from heat.

Add coconut and pecans.

Beat until cool.
